Privacy notice
We respect your privacy. This policy explains the information involved when you visit this website or contact Olive Tree through the contact details shown here.
Who to contact
Olive Tree is responsible for the personal information you provide directly to the shop. For privacy questions or requests, call 01476 210079 or write to Olive Tree, 12–13 Westgate, Grantham, NG31 6LT.
Information you share with us
This website has no enquiry form, customer accounts, newsletter sign-up or online checkout. If you contact us, you may share your name, contact details and information about your enquiry or booking. Please only share what we need to help you, and do not send payment card details in general enquiries or social media messages.
How information is used
We use enquiry details to answer questions, help with purchases or bookings and resolve concerns. Our basis for answering general enquiries is our legitimate interest in helping customers. When information is needed to arrange a purchase or booking at your request, our basis is taking steps towards, or fulfilling, that agreement. Records required by law are kept to meet those legal obligations.
Keeping and sharing information
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any related follow-up. Purchase or booking records may need to be kept longer for accounting, legal requirements or resolving disputes.
Service providers involved in handling an enquiry, payment or booking may process the information needed for that task. Any separate payment or booking service has its own privacy information. This website does not collect or store your payment card details.
Website hosting and cookies
Our website hosting provider may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser details and access logs, to deliver and protect the website. This may involve processing outside the UK. For questions about how your information is handled, please contact us using the details above.
We have not added analytics, advertising trackers or social media embeds to this website. Hosting services may use cookies needed to operate or secure the site.
Links to other websites
Links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps take you to separate websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Contact the shop using the details above. If information is used with your consent, you can withdraw that consent.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, please contact us. You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator at ico.org.uk.
